1. Who this policy is for
This Privacy Policy applies to rahulgdev.com and all pages of this website operated by RahulgDev Ads Xpert, the independent paid-media practice of Rahul G ("I", "me", "my").
It covers visitors to this website and anyone who contacts me through it — for a free ad-account audit, a question or a paid engagement.
2. Information I collect
I collect as little as possible. There are only two ways information reaches me:
- Information you give me — name, phone/WhatsApp number, platform of interest, monthly ad-budget range and any notes you type into the free-audit form, or anything you send directly by WhatsApp, email or phone.
- Information collected automatically — standard web-server logs (IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page and time of visit) kept by the hosting provider that serves this website.
- Nothing else. There are no user accounts, no payment forms on this site, and no data brokers or advertising trackers installed on it.
The audit form does not send data to any server of mine — it opens WhatsApp with your details pre-filled. You see and control the message before it leaves your device.
3. How I use your information
Information is used for one purpose only: to respond to you and, if you choose to proceed, to deliver and manage advertising services for your business.
- Reply to audit requests and enquiries with the fastest useful answer.
- Prepare the free audit and, later, a tailored service proposal and quote.
- Deliver contracted services — campaigns, tracking and reporting.
- Keep basic business records required by law (invoices, contracts).
- Improve this website based on how it is used (only ever in aggregate).
4. Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/UK, processing rests on: your consent (the audit form and any optional cookies); steps taken before entering a contract (the audit and proposal you asked for); my legitimate interest in running and securing a small business website; and legal obligations for financial records.
5. Cookies & local storage
This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The only storage used is your consent choice itself — saved as a small item called rg_consent in your browser if you save a preference in Cookie Settings.

6. Third-party services this site uses
To serve this website efficiently, a small number of third parties are involved:
- Fonts (Syne, Space Grotesk, Space Mono) are self-hosted with this site — no Google Fonts or other font-CDN request is made, so your IP address is never shared with a font provider.
- jsDelivr (a public CDN) — the Three.js library powering the 3D hero animation.
- The hosting provider — serves the site and keeps standard security logs.
- WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) — only if you choose to message me; once you leave this site for WhatsApp, Meta's own policies govern that conversation.
7. Sharing & selling data
Personal data is never sold, rented or traded. It is shared only in these situations:
- With you — whenever you open WhatsApp through the form, the data you typed goes to WhatsApp to deliver your message.
- With service providers that process data on my behalf (hosting, email) under their own privacy terms.
- When required by law — court orders or legal obligations applicable in India.
8. International transfers
I operate from India. Some of the services named above (jsDelivr CDN infrastructure, and WhatsApp/Meta if you choose to message) process data on servers outside your country — potentially outside the EU. Where EU/UK data is involved, transfers rely on the providers' standard contractual clauses and similar safeguards.
9. How long data is kept
Enquiry data (your audit request) is kept up to 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted.
Client records (contracts, invoices) are kept for the period Indian law requires for financial documents.
Server logs are rotated by the hosting provider on a short rolling window (typically under 90 days).
Your cookie-consent choice stays in your browser until you clear it — it is not transmitted to me at all.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier lawful processing). Residents of India may exercise rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023; EU/UK residents have GDPR rights; Californians may request deletion and opt-out of any "sale" (there is none here).

- Requests are answered free of charge, normally within 30 days, after a quick identity check.
- If you are unhappy with the response, you may complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Security
The site is served over HTTPS/TLS, hardened with a Content Security Policy and standard security headers, and collects so little data that there is no database of personal information to breach. Access to my own devices and accounts is protected by passwords and two-factor authentication.
12. Children's privacy
This website is aimed at businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children under 18, and I do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided information, contact me and it will be deleted.
13. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the site or the law changes. The current version always lives on this page with its last-updated date at the top.
